Enacted: new state law on noncompetition agreements

On Friday, August 10, 2018, Governor Baker signed an economic development bill that will bring about some big changes to the noncompete landscape in Massachusetts. For an overview of some of the key provisions, read here.

The law goes into effect October 1, 2018.
